WHY CLARITY IS SO IMPORTANT FOR SUCCESS
We have all been in a place where we felt stuck and were searching for answers. There is nothing worse than feeling hopeless. These are the moments when life throws a curve ball at you without warning, and you have two choices in the moment; take action or capitulate.
I firmly believe that our lives are a sum of the choices that we make in critical moments. Therefore, the quality of our lives is determined by our ability to make informed and well thought out decisions in pivotal moments. The goal of this article is to give you tools that you can use to create clarity and certainty in making decisions that will be in your future best interest.
Speaking from personal experience, one of the biggest reasons why I did not achieve success at a younger age was because I never trusted my instincts. My biggest problem was I also wanted to get the opinion of the people that I looked up to because I felt that they knew better than I did.
I used to ask people what they thought about the schools I wanted to go to, the careers I wanted to pursue, the things they thought about the women I was interested. Doing this was a major source of confusion in my life. This was a recipe for disaster, not because they were ill qualified to advise me, they were. The issue was I wasn’t able to make decisions based on my own experience because I lacked the confidence to so.
My life only started to get better when I started to listen to my inner voice. If you begin to trust that feeling in your heart or stomach, things will begin to happen for you. Clarity comes from our ability to make decisions without doubt. Once you begin to trust in your ideas, wholeheartedly, you will begin to find your own path to success. Consequently I believe success is measured in two key areas.
The first is your ability to influence and affect as many people in your life in a positive way. The second form of success is the ability to do the things that you feel are right in your heart without having to justify your actions to others.
The successful person is the individual who is lives a purposeful life determined by their own self-belief and knowledge of themselves. When you get to that place, your clarity of focus will begin to lead you to make the right decisions for a successful life.
