THREE REASONS WHY WINNERS JUST KEEP ON WINNIG
It has never been a better time to start a business than today. Now more than ever, young creative people with energy and enthusiasm are making power moves and turning themselves into millionaires in a short period time. We no longer need to rely on others to disseminate information to us or spend years doing research to get the information we need to get going.
Maybe the majority of people will read this and simply ignore the benefits of starting a business out of fear, lack of self-confidence or complacency. But for the few that read this and decide to make a move, you won’t regret it. There are many benefits to starting a business, but I will cover the three that I believe everyone ought to be aware of.
1. Think outside of the box
One of the biggest things I have learned since I went into business is that I have learnt to become a creative thinker. Business and life will present roadblocks as you try to achieve your goals. In order to do well in business, you need to be flexible in your thinking. Realize that there are many ways to get the things you want. As you learn to become a more creative person, you will quickly discover that your creative thinking abilities we improve at a faster clip.
For instance, when my business partner and I first started out doing workshops, it would take us a considerable amount of time to prepare for workshops. As time went on, we learned new and creative ways to decrease the time we needed to prepare for workshops and we became more efficient. We searched for new ways to improve the way we did things, which requires creativity. Consider starting a small enterprise and begin to harness your creative thinking faculties.
2. Process problems
Going into business has been by far the most challenging thing I have ever done. Business is hard, and there a problems popping up at every turn. We rarely go one full week without some sort of problem or challenge presenting itself. There are two types of problems business presents. The first are the problems that you seem coming, and the second are problems that arise without warning. It goes deeper than that, there are also external and internal issues as well, but let’s keep it simple.
The longer you are in business, the better you will become at handling problems as they arise. The most successful entrepreneurs out there are masters at managing problems.
Unfortunately, school does not prepare you to handle real-life challenges because you have teachers that guide you; in life you have to guide yourself and make mistakes. Becoming a problem-solver is a skill that everyone should have.
3. Increase your earning power
Apart from all of the other benefits that going into business for yourself provides, the number one benefit is that it is the fastest way to financial freedom. Starting a successful business can multiply your earning power in ways that will astonish you. The reason is this. You will work harder for yourself than you will for others if you are given the right incentives. The truth is, when you work for yourself, the sky is the limit, when you work for someone, the limit is the sky. You can accumulate as many exercises as you like when you work for yourself, you can give yourself a raise whenever you feel like.
But bare this in mind, you will bare all of the risk. That is the primary reason your employer gets the lion share of the earnings, because he or she is taking all the risk, therefore they benefit greatly from the rewards. There are also taxation benefits for starting a business for yourself that you can find out about with a bit of research.
If the three reasons I gave you make sense to you, give it a try. You won’t regret it!
