COMMUNICATE YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS
Do you see what I mean? I don’t know what she means? What are they talking about? I don’t know what to say? I know what to say, I just don’t know how. This is the world that we live in. We are living in a world that is filled with communication devices, yet the majority of us struggle to express ourselves clearly. Why is that? you may be asking yourself. One reason we as a society are becoming more indifferent to each other is because we believe that it is no longer important to consider the consequences of our words.
Your ability to be heard and understood without causing confusion is a major determining factor to get your message across successfully. There are two points I want to highlight. First, you need to be able to speak to people face to face. Second, you need to be able to communicate effectively when using a mobile device. That being said, we need to focus on improving our public speaking skills as the first remedy.
Some of the greatest figures in the history of the world have been exceptional orators. There are no two ways around that. The power of words is irrefutable, because when you hear a good speaker, they can communicate with you on a number of levels. Emotionally, logically and visually. Therefore, if you want to be a leader or a trailblazer, it is crucial to learn how to improve your public speaking skills.
I remember a time when I was watching an interview with the investor Warren Buffet and he detailed how learning to be a great public speaker opened the door for him to meet the right people because of his ability to relate and be likeable. Yes, I know that public speaking is the #1 fear shared among people on earth. But guess what, you don’t have to be one of these people. Take a public speaking course and start strengthening yourself in this area. You won’t regret it.
The second way to improve your communication skills is to become a great writer. Here is what I mean. I am an entrepreneur, so therefore I need to be able to write strong ads. If my ads are lackluster, we don’t make as much money.
So there is a real payoff to improving your writing skills. If you become a good writer, you could very well end up writing a book that helps people that are in search of accessible information that can be understood easily.
Do you see what I mean? Do you understand? If you got this far, you do. What words are you dying to share with people?
